April 18, 2013 - Hanover, Maryland – Exciting things are happening at The Stone Store. In preparation for the Spring Season The Stone Store teamed with Belgard Hardscapes and Continental Landscaping to renovate an existing Outdoor Living Area at The Stone Store. Having partnered for years with Belgard Hardscapes, it was an easy decision to reconstruct an outdated 2,000 square foot area to showcase the latest colors and profiles introduced in this year's Belgard product line. In addition to featuring the latest in pavers, the display area also contains; Harmony Outdoor Living Elements including a Chicago Brick Oven, homeowner friendly products such as Weston Wall and Celtik Wall, and a unique custom Yin Yang design all installed by Continental Landscaping of Severn, Maryland. "We are honored to have Continental Landscaping available to partner with us on design and installation of this project", said the Vice President and General Manager of The Stone Store, "as a premier installer to The Stone Store and with Tony Verzi of Continental Landscaping having recently been named Belgard Master Craftsman, Continental Landscaping was a perfect fit."
The Belgard Master Craftsman designation is recognition from Belgard for someone who is outstanding in their craft, an award winning installer with a commitment to continuing education as well as a commitment to growing business through innovative products and programs available through Belgard Hardscapes. Tony Verzi joins one of two Master Craftsman on the East Coast with only nine across the country to receive this distinction. The Stone Store ribbon cutting ceremony was recently held on April 18, 2013 to showcase the new display area and honor Tony Verzi of Continental Landscaping for his outstanding achievement. Representatives from the West County Chamber of Commerce, the Anne Arundel County Executive's office, BWI Airport, Belgard Hardscapes, and Harmony Outdoor Living were on hand to assist with the celebration.
